Physical and emotional health often go together. Therefore, we believe the best care is given when health care providers work together. With the addition of our behavioral health consultants, behavioral health services can now be provided to serve the need of our patients. We believe this is just one one of many reasons why we can provide the best and most comprehensive care for you and your family!
Consultations will always begin with your pediatrician.
Co-visits (appointments with your pediatrician and behavioral health consultant) will be 15-30 minutes. The consultants will then decide, in collaboration with the parent(s), whether a follow-up session is needed. We can also assist with the transition to a community mental health provider if patients would benefit from continued services.
We look forward to providing these new behavioral health services for our patients and families. Feel free to ask us any questions you may have at your next visit!
