Behavioral Health Clinician

Katie Drees is originally from South Carolina and has lived in Texas for 12 years. She moved to Fort Worth and earned her graduate degree in counseling. Following school she worked with FWISD in elementary behavior classrooms teaching social skills, developing and implementing behavior plans and parent training. She was also counseling children and adolescents at a private counseling center. Katie journeyed to The Woodlands several years later to do applied behavior analysis therapy and counsel at an autism clinic.
Katie says, “Working with children has always been my passion and the special needs community has a special place in my heart. While my family is in South Carolina, I travel there often and love spending time with them. I enjoy doing all things outdoors with my dog Humphrey, binge watching tv, eating good food and spending time with the people I love.”
